Pilr’s COACHING DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM:
Member Process
PILR’S initial offerings will include leadership development sessions and community-building gatherings.

1. self-assessments
Upon enrollment, coaches will complete self-assessment tests to identify their proficiencies and opportunities for growth.

2. leadership development
Using their results as a benchmark, coaches participate in a 6-month leadership development program (skill building workshops and peer-to-peer learning), to learn wellness-centered coaching strategies and practices.

3. access to ongoing training and alumni network
At the conclusion of the program, coaches graduate into an alumni membership network, granting them access to continued training opportunities and relationship-building gatherings, to cultivate and sustain an accessible community of support.

4. METRICS OF SUCCESS and improvements
Metrics such as player and parent satisfaction reports, student-athlete retention, self and observational evaluations, and increased program participation will be used to assess the impact of PILR’s programming and educational materials.
BRINGING THIS VISION TO LIFE
We are in the early stages of securing funding to fully develop and implement these programs. With your support, we can ensure that coaches and athletes receive the training, mentorship, and resources needed to transform youth sports.
